I've been finding a great and straightforward to use reminder's app. This by far is the best video ever. One a subscriber!

that's how I work with Reminders, and I add the timing to each tasks so it's organized, and if I couldn't do the task I change the timing :D this is how I never forgot anything.

Best advice Carl. Simplicity is the most sophisticated. Minimalist approach helps build that.

Thanks so much.

I use split screen to have reminders and calendar side by side. The reminders is my basic task organizer. It is my “project manager.” The calendar is my to-do list and appointments. For my “must do today, ” ” I slide the reminder into an appointment slot for when I plan to do it. It also remains in reminders until I mark it done. I then add a first alert and a second alert. For additional security, I put “ repeat daily” on each. Anything not completed will show daily until it is done. I f I do not do the task that day, it will show on the next day in calendar. It also shows as a past due in reminders. The calendar becomes a to-do list that includes my appointments. The advantage for me is that if I use flagging for must do’s, they are buried in the flagged list. I need my “must do’s” visible. I am frequently looking at the day’s schedule on the calendar.

Hi Carl, I wondered if you could help me trouble shoot. I am not able to change the icon of any additional groups that I add, the only options I'm given are rename or delete group. I was able to change the icon for the inbox one, but additional ones cant be adjusted. I am able to add new lists that have customizable icons. Have you run into this before? Thanks for any advice and the awesome video!

Hi! Is there a way to make the same weekly schedule every week?

Great video Carl! Reminders is a great and simple app that helps keep me on task. And, it seems like they sort with all day tasks on top and then any tasks that have specific times go to the bottom in time order. At least that's what it looks like to me. Thanks again and keep it up!

Great video. How do you manage the alerts from all the scheduled reminders? I thought to give the system a try, but would like to turn off alerts of the non-essential scheduled reminders. Thanks.

Can we create a Smart List that displays all tasks dated from Monday to Friday. And then switch to a kanban view to lord it over the week. Todoist does this, doesn’t it.

May I know is it possible to sync the Reminder task with Routine to our Calender?

In the schedule view, you dragged and dropped a 'to do' from day to another, which was actually 'next week' and not 'this week'.. Therefore the 'todo' although scheduled on the day you want it, actually still appears in the 'this week' list even though you moved it in the schedule to 'next week'. Why not have one list and just drag and drop into the schedule dates you need? Only one list to manage?
