From what I can translate from German forums and talking to German people who have kept them, Red Apples (Metasesarma Aubryi) are true terrestrial land crabs that enjoy a freshwater bathing pool deep enough to submerge them fully. From my experience keeping them, they like sweet fruit the most as food, and will eat moss, decaying plant matter, and other scavenger food. Breeding is easy, but rearing the young is akin to raising Amano shrimp nymphs, wherein the babies hatch in brackish-to-full saltwater, brackish being freshwater with some sea salt.
