What is Dante's Purgatorio? | Overview & Summary!

Dante's Purgatorio is the second poem in the Divine Comedy, which began with Dante's Inferno and will end with Dante's Paradiso. This superificial overview will cover the seven terraces of purgatory which loosely resemble the seven deadly sins, which Virgil and Dante must ascend.

My dear mother is in her middle seventies, one of her most selected words is purgatory, my brother & I had dictionary definitions to memory, it was interesting to find your channel for the more cultured version.
