This is not to be jerk, but to clarify somethings up. When I was in my undergrad studying engineering, I was in charge of my own research project and got grant money. When I was looking for work, no one would accept me for an engineering job because I had no experience. They do not see things like research and development, volunteer work, or other things as work experience. They only see if you have successfully work for a competitor. I still get this problem to this day almost 15 years later requiring experience in some obscure programming language. There are only really two ways I know that would be of more of a sure bet to for getting entry level jobs. One is you have to have a personal relationship with someone that is an insider to a company, like a family member or a friend, that can get you past the gatekeepers. The other is you have get either get experience on your own by starting your own company, or internship with exact skills they are looking for. Or you could just lie (which is by far the most common). The hiring managers and companies want the guarantee sure bet that an employee will perform or out perform as expected while underpaying if all possible. As long there are experience people willing to apply for the job, they will continue to do this. Over course all this depends on the economy. I started out in the year 2008, but those starting out lets say in 2018 have it easier. This was the biggest problem I had for over 7 years until I was able to something on my own to get experience instead of relying on a company.

When I finished school, almost everyone got their first job through family connections. 😞

Well. Besides college or university being a scam. With all of my experiences. I do not recommend it.

They tell you to go to these universities when the better option is just to get work. If you can and meet all of their requirements and demands.

School never thought me what a voided check is. Nor what a declaration page is.

Flawed job application processes, in my opinion. Why would I need to submit an nonrefundable payment of such and such dollars just to be able given an opportunity to work.
