Last night I was rewatching Rumble Fish just out of respect for the Stewart Copeland soundtrack bits, and I ended up watching the whole thing again. I wanted to come back to a recording conversation that I’d been on and I got hooked. Mickey is devastating, Matt Dillon is the best that he’s ever been, Diane Lane is so generous and revealing, Dennis Hopper so wise… it’s Coppola’s masterpiece that goes under the radar
