They make new levels every now and then. Back in 2017 my Dad finished Candy Crush then they added more levels. Then he died before he could do it again.

I remember one time I downloaded candy crush on a whim, and for some reason, my save data was just completely maxed out, for zero reason. I uninstalled and reinstalled and then everything turned back to the start

I work in mobile games. The last game I worked on had 14, 000 match 3 levels. Players finishing everything and demanding more was a regular issue we had to tackle.

My dad was like this 😂 hed reach the end and then wed have to hear about how he was waiting in new levels and him complain about them not coming fast enough, for a while they did indeed just keep adding levels and honestly they could probably outsource that to AI at this point and keep candy crush going forever 😂
