I love the advice about breaking up a pour in sections. I'm 60, working alone on a project doing 5' x 5' sections. I figure the cold joints can be control joints 🙂

Good idea on the bags, but I would’ve put those bags at the bottom and scoop a little from the truck mix so when cured you don’t get different looks.

Can you do a walkway that crooked from the house? What’s the best way to make sure you are still square with the house from house I know in part 4 you was doing a pop quiz but that seemed from the backyard of the house, this walkway is more on the side of the house ! I’ve heard some people say you have to wet your concrete for a few days after you pour it, but others say the complete opposite. Any advice?
