It would have helped if you started by showing how you came to the page you start off with, like clicking on the host in some more general view? Or through the setup menu? As the video starts now we have no idea how you came to that page.

I have a question of understanding: If the rule is created for a specific folder, does this rule only apply to this folder or also to all folders below?

Very nice tutorial.

I have a problem though. I have check_mk set up in a docker container and I want to monitor the host the container is on. That works partially. I don't have some services like the "Filesystem /" service. How can I get this?

I can't find Host check anymore, has it been replaced by another rule?
