Victim-survivors, witnesses, accused persons and prisoners all require access to the effective, accountable and inclusive justice institutions that uphold the rule of law. The complexity of ensuring justice for all underscores the importance of internationally agreed minimum standards to ensure that justice processes play a key role in the protection of human rights.
