Having been a bassist for over 20 years I never bothered learning any basslines off AJFA because they’re inaudible - but I started playing guitar recently and am getting used to skinny strings and a pick by learning James Brown (the Funkmasters book) and Metallica. And the title track of AJFA is one of my favourites, so thank you for this excellent video - it might take me a while to get it nailed!

-On the pre-chorus riff the guitar on the left plays the slides with normal power chords and the guitar on the right plays the inverted power chords like in the video, that's how it is on the recording, you can hear it if you listen closely to the isolated tracks.

-The final chord of the chorus is 1st fret on the sixth string, 3rd fret on the fifth string and fifth fret on the Fourth string, basically a F power chord with and added g with the Pinky, that's how it is on the recording and you can see them doing it live too.

Just a few more details for those who want to learn the song exactly like the recording.

I really like your videos. Simple, well recorded, no nonsense. There are so many Metallica focused channels on YouTube. Thank you for not having one that tries to rework their songs, or do the "what if" thing, or endlessly disect the very fabric of the band.

...And justice for all was the very first Metallica album I listened to and owned. My dad had a copy from when it first came out on cd and I would listen to it on repeat. I'm so glad I found this video so that way now I can learn it and be able to play it whenever I want. This is definitely one of, if not the best, lesson videos for the song. Keep up the great work!
