More Kayakers Should Do This. Epic Self Awareness

I cannot begin to tell you how stoked I was to see a top kayaker demonstrate self reflection for everyone to see. It is one the most useful tools but takes some skill in detaching your EGO from a situation. But if you are capable then you can reap the rewards of not just your hard work but your mistakes too. Unlimited potential!

Definitely Seth. Film work is essential to be better at any activity. I've sat in front of thousands of hours of film as an athlete and coach to to breakdown the performances. Often times what you remember isn't what actually happened. We have a saying when it comes to film study, "Film doesn't lie".

well if we look at this video, I think the idea was great, what could go better, perhaps videos of your own... ha ha JK
Actually it would be cool if there was a place we could send these to you have you take what you want and then put them together for a review of what went wrong and what you might have done better. It could be a series, you could have guest reviewers, have a good laugh and we could learn something maybe. I really love this idea. It is really hard to find instructors here in Utah, in order to keep progressing.
