Quill, always remember that just because you're a democracy that doesn't mean that you will always lose the game if your approval is not above 49% in an election. There's a little thing that other presidente's and I like to call "Operation Protect Freedom." Some people refer to it as "martial law", but that's such a dirty word.

I get the challenge appeal of disasters, but every time I play I'm never like, "wow...I am so glad these four tornadoes happened at this instance.  Very convenient and not stressful at all."  Quill handles this much better than I would have, haha.  Great series, by the way!  Keep it up, sir!

I think you undervalue teamsters, I usually go for 3 by world wars era; I never have the economic slump you seem to get in.

And about the working part, it is all about how you use your working time.

Good vid, like your mp series of it as well since it shows how the mp is which is not bad but not the "everyone gets their own island" concept I thought they were going to do. Game  has lots of room for new stuff.Seem it is packed with stuff from Trop 4 + modern times and even some of the trop 4 dlc's.

Trop 5 Vanilla seems a win for people who might of skipped Trop 4 and for those who want to continue to the next without waiting for a "collection/complete" version of Trop 5. A.I. seems more prone to rebel which is good though I see it still easy to make $$$ but any city builder gets like that once your economy is up and running. Curious how much the Super powers are to attack though since in trop4 you hardly had to worry about that unless you really messed up.

Quill, it's good practice to increase the budget of the docks to the maximum, as that will decrease the time it takes the ships to arrive from 6 months to 4 months. It will make the economy less bursty.

Also if you want to expand your population size, the frequent trips will offer more oppprtunties for immigration.

I have to say the sneeze must have been epic. I mentally filled it in, I'm surprised your computer survived.

It's fewer uprisings. Fewer for things you can count (count nouns) and less for things that don't have a specific number (mass nouns). So: fewer glasses of milk gives you less milk. Fewer glasses - less milk.

Can I ask why you build everything so compactly, when you on such a large island? I realize aestetics is not needed from a mechanics point of view, it's just that in my experience room between buildings for troops to manuveur or parks helps the approval rating and against rebels. Not to mention making sure people don't live near polution from production or industry also helps

By the way, make sure you have more than one access road to the docks, because last time you had massive traffic jams at your docks decreasing your profits.

A tip: Look under People and scroll down for Education and look in Factions button in top People-tab to see what is the most popular Faction and play accordingly.

I'm pretty sure siestas, in Spain at least are like 4 hours in the afternoon, pretty sure they start work earlier too rather than finishing (much) later.

Regarding the Newspaper, the Upgrade which reduces the required level of education to High School has no impact on the effectiveness of the Newspaper.  In one of my islands I have two Newspapers where with one I did the upgrade, while the other still requires College educated workers. There is no difference between the two beyond that one requires College educated and the other requires High School educated.

Also, on max difficulty, it will be interesting to see what happens with the Democracy and All people Vote options on the Constitution, in addition to open borders.  I usually keep voters to the Wealthy.  It's far easier to satisfy the demands of a smaller group of people, giving you time to raise the satisfaction of the rest of the 'rabble'.

I usually always implement the Visa Program Constitution option which slows population growth to something that is manageable.  Before you know it, you've hit 1000+ population and need that many more services to boost happiness.

Should be interesting.

I really like all the comments being like "Communists, Axis powers, 1916, huh?" Here's some help to all of you who clearly never read a book in your life, the Russian revolution occurred in 1917. Also, in 1914 there was this thing were Germany and Austria were allied, along with Ottoman Turks in a war against France, England and the USA, some people call it WWI. Axis simply means a centralized location of some kind. People used those words before WWII.

This was said in the last video and I know these have been recorded all back to back, but might want to think about lowering natural disasters a bit? Since money is harder to get.

You should try and and play on a small island, minimal resources, max political difficulty, max economic difficulty, and max disaster. Call the series isla de impossible.
