Harry has a seriously overinflated sense of his own importance.
If they didn't alert the press everytime they move, they could easily fly into London, have a car pick them up and be driven to Windsor for a quick private meeting with the Queen. That is not what they want. They want the attention and the coverage. Their connection to the royal family is the only source of revenue they have.
