The Pap test is a test that detects changes in a woman's cervix before it becomes cancer.
It's one of the strategies for the prevention of this cancer.
The cancer is caused by a virus called human papillomavirus, which is transmitted through sexual intercourse.
All sexually active women are at risk of contracting the virus and therefore cancer.
The test is so important that cancer is almost never seen in women that take the test.
It should start at the age of 21 years and repeat every 3 years.

Get tested if you are a sexually active woman.
If you are a man, the least you can do is to share with your loved ones and encourage them to get tested.❤ 😍
