I’m gonna tell you right now, music is NOT easy unless you already have a ridiculous amount of knowledge and experience. As someone that came into a bachelors of music program with very little experience and just a love for music, it has without a doubt the most challenging courses I’ve ever taken before, it is brutal. But if you really love it, it’s infinitely rewarding and priceless.

Young people watching these videos, although factors like rigor and income are important, it really is important to choose a path that interests you. Know that what you choose to major in could very well decide the field of work you will go into for the next possibly 40 years of your life.

Life is to short to dedicate yourself that you aren't at all passionate about.

As someone who is part of their high school's band, I can say with confidence that music AIN'T easy! I'm just in the starting off band and the music is pretty difficult. I can't imagine what the top tier band is doing, I probably won't survive a day! And certainly can't imagine what professional musicians do. Not to mention we're doing some hard a*s theory that I personally HATE doing, don't think I'll be returning to band next year.

The intro to psych courses might be easy enough, but to really be a psychologist you’re going to need a PhD in many cases. That isn’t easy at all. Of course, doing any of these to a higher degree is going to be more difficult, but I hate that people write of psychology as the ‘easy one’.

Anybody who picks psychology thinking there will be no math and no difficulty just to give you a heads up there is a lot of statistics and neuroscience involved. It’s not that “easy” at is it seems and also not to mention applying theoretical knowledge in a practical/clinical setting is a whole new level.

I started as a psych major, but yea it was *hella easy* (at least at my school) to the pt I felt guilty abt it so now I’m dbl majoring😅the *hard part* is getting into the Psyc classes u want b/c of the major’s popularity ☠️
