im still using a 2600x and a 1070, only just dusted off the pc recently but pleasantly surprised to see the 1070 slaying cyberpunk at high settings 1080p, getting very respectable framerates considering i built the pc years ago, im around 50-60fps, very playable and since i dont do console gaming and cyberpunk is the only game in recent years to interest me, very happy. Also for anyone wondering im running 16gb of ram to.

Its actually a briliant time for budget gaming pc building - gtx 1070 goes as low as 70€ 2nd hand, even rtx 4060 as low as 180-200€ 2nd hand; quality AM4 boards with vrm heatsinks as low as 30-40€ 2nd hand, need 32gb ddr4 3200 ? EZ; 40€ and your in - and good looking brand new argb gaming towers go for sub 50€ - hell - if you ever wanted to build a low cost but powerful gaming rig you better do it right now. ^^

I've saved up £2500 and was seriously thinking of getting a PC gaming rig - but I've been looking into how MS/XB next gen AI and technology of gaming is going to be huge a leap for gaming - so am now wondering shall I just hold back and wait as I don't want to invest into a high-end gaming PC only to be bettered or equaled in about 2yrs alot cheaper. I currently have a PS4/XBSS.

I don't see any visual difference between the 1070 and 4070! There's big performance differences, but visuals are almost identical! Is that all these high end cards are, just performance???

yes the 4060 is the clear winner. but people commenting that this video saying this video made them switch from a 1070 to a 4060 is crazy. this video proves you dont have to switch to a 4060. better wait for a more viable option. or step up to a 4070 or higher. im upgrading my psu and i wondered if i should get a 4060. now i know i dont. however if you are building a PC and debating on a used 1070 vs a 4060, definitely get the 4060.

I got a Series X digital and a a PS5 Pro, so upgrading a GPU is basically pointless 😂 Plus, I am good with my 1070s. I’ll just put them in SLI if I wanna see the minuscule improvement of graphics gained by updating to a newer GPU.
