Today I'm testing and reviewing the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB, which is 8 years old, in 2024! I tested 22 popular games with adequate settings for each, mostly at 1080p resolution.

Got a Zotac 1070 Mini back in 2018 when it was 259$, sticked with me all the way until October 2023 when I had a chance to get a 3070 with the same price.
Now it’s in my friend’s rig and we’re still rocking in CS2 daily lmao.

1070 Enters the Test. it's really nice how it runs from intensive games and latest titles. now i have a RTX 3070 and the GTX 1070 is on my Brother's Gaming PC. but still hurts paying $500 from the GPU Crisis that year after my headaches on RX 580’s problems.

I got this back in 2016 and it felt like an absolute beast. Played Witcher 3 and it was a big upgrade over my Radeon 280X. According to techpoweredup exactly 100% more performance.

Got a used a 1070 for my older brother's rig, paired with an i5 9500 system i got for cheap (84€ SI built that came with a 500gb SSD). He mainly plays f2p games and MMOs, so it's more than enough for him. He's quite happy with it after a few months and can fully utilize his 1440p 75hz monitor whereas it was paired with a laptop sporting an mx150 before.

Unfortunately were were in a bit of a hurry to make the build since we needed to ship it to his place before he returned home to match the timings. So I ended up paying 105€ (90+15 for postage) for a Gainward Golden Sample, honestly not too terrible since it has a zero rpm mode.
