I've noticed over the course of my videos that quality was dropping per video, this was because both YouTube compression and downscaling actual 4K content to 1080p.
Simple to state, 4K would allow me to use higher bitrates on a video, which would mean less compensation in quality. Meaning the quality will be higher, plus you can watch at a higher resolution.
Even if you have a 1080p screen and you can watch it in 4K, I suggest you doing so. You'll see a significant difference due to the bitrate!
