I gotta say, even though I am an atheist this is one of the most thoughtful, erudite man I have ever come across. I grew up a southern baptist and when I left the church I had a profound bitterness toward God. His words have help me see God in a whole new light and has cultivated a love of the scriptures in my heart!

Christianity is paganism. Believing that “satan” has the ability to defy Gd is paganism. Because it undermines the power of hashem.

Anyone can die with knowledge. But not anyone can die with faith. It takes more than the knowing. Its knowing yourself and understanding where you came from and where you are headed. Dont live in the flesh, because the flesh will eventually vanish. The Spirit lives on . We are Spirit and we will also live on. Jesus sacrificed his life for our spirit so that love and faith and conquer all evil. This was the gift our Lord and Father Jesus has given us. Now, its our choice to receive it. Bless those who see the Father and know the Truth.
Glory to Jesus the Truth and the Life.
Let the angels in Heaven proclaim his Glory.

There is a sect of orthodox Jews in NYC who claim that their rabbi was the messiah. They claim that this person never died, though I believe he passed back in the 80s(?). I'm not sure about when he passed, but I believe it was decades ago. I would be interested to hear what Rabbi Singer thinks of that sect. I had also heard there were some Jews in Israel who were considering some rabbi there to be the messiah, though I can't recall all the details on that instance. Maybe Rabbi Singer knows who they are.

Why is the Mem closed in “increase” Isaiah 9:7 : לְםַרְבֵּ֨ה? Is this not an acknowledgement that the Meshiach would be born of a virgin? Did not the Septuagint (translated in agreement by 72 Rabbis 200 years before Jesus was born)acknowledge that the reference in Isaiah 7 was to a young woman but translated it explicitly as virgin? Is it not also true that the Hebrew word in Isaiah 7 “Almah” הָעַלְמָ֗ה is NEVER used of a married woman?

The letter Mem is almost never closed except as a final letter in a word, yet here in Isaiah 9, it is closed at the beginning of the word “Marbe” increase.

Luke took the virgin birth story from the Mahabharata - Indian scripture 2300BC
"The sage Durvasa had blessed Kunti, daughter of King Kunti Bhog, with a boon. He initiated her into a unique mantra, through which she could invoke any divine being to provide her with a son. Kunti conceived her first son, Karna, from Surya, the Sun God, as a virgin, and had to abandon him". ....also the story of Moses floating down the river in a basket was also taken from this same story.

A liitle story I like to share, hope it sounds appropriate.

It’s market day and cattle are sold, a Jewish farmer decides to buy some new sheep, he wanders along the pens with donkeys, and pens with goats, all orderly divided.
Then he comes to the area where the sheep are offered, it very orderly, the pens even have shields announcing the breeds. Like Assaf, Cheviot, Churro or Merino.
In the pen next to the Merino there is a shield Messiah.

“Now that must be an interesting breed, I must have a look”: the farmer thinks and looking in the pen he discovers it is a collection of pigs with wooly coats in there.
He addresses the vendor, saying: “What brought you in the wrong department, the pig section is at the end of the market.”

The vendor looks offended: “What do you know? I am selling sheep, special sheep.”
“I am a farmer, like my father and his father and I can tell you from a lifelong experience these are pigs, just look at the ears and the snout and listen to the sound they make.

The vendor heats up: “I tell you those are sheep, I have it from the highest authorities that these sheep are special.”
The farmer: “that may be so, but I think those authorities don’t know what they are talking about.”

The vendor shouts: “Get away from my turf, you filthy Jew, or I call them to chase you away. You are ruining my business”

The farmer: “Spare yourself the trouble I wasn’t buying anyway. I am a Jew and I don’t have need for pigs.”

Dear Rabbi Tovia would you please speak on the verse that says " Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom” (vv. 27–28). It seems pretty plain that this did not happen. I am curious as to what the words actually say in the native tongue.

In the future, the Messianic king will arise and renew the Davidic dynasty, restoring it to its initial sovereignty. He will build the Temple and gather the dispersed of Israel.
Then, in his days, the observance of all the statutes will return to their previous state. Jews will offer sacrifices, observe the Sabbatical and Jubilee years according to all their particulars as described by the Torah (Maimonides, Laws of Kings 11:1).

Psalms 2 is not the virgin birth, it's about the anointed one.

Being born of a virgin is necessary to not be born with a sin nature. Adam was the one who transgressed God's commandment given to him in the garden, not Eve. Eve was created after the commandment to Adam was given, and so she was not subject to it. As such, the sin nature passes on from the father, not the mother. That is why the Messiah must be from the woman's seed (Genesis 3:15). Jesus would have become a part of the House of David when Mary married Joseph, as Joseph descended from David. Paul references the virgin birth in Romans 1:3 and Galatians 4:4 when he says that Jesus was "made" of a woman, and "made" of the seed of David. Note that only the King James Version preserves this correct rendition; all modern translations say that he was "born" of a woman, instead of "made". Given that God cannot sin, this "Immanuel" ("God is with us") from Isaiah 7:14 would also have to be born without a father, in order to have no sin nature.

Matthew's genealogy has 3 sets of 14 because 14 is the number of David in Hebrew gematria, and 3 is the Biblical number of perfection, divinity and completion. Matthew's gospel portrays Jesus as Israel's perfect king, much like David (Zechariah 9:9; Jeremiah 23:5).

So christians twisted the words in the 'old testament' to claim Jesus was born of a virgin and was fathered directly by God, which makes it impossible for him to be messiah according to Jewish religion. Jews say that Jesus was not born of a virgin, at least there are no texts in the 'old testament' that say so, which could mean Jesus was from the house of David and could have been the messiah. Why did christians come up with the virgin birth story at all?

The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone!
Stone = אבן
Father = אב
Son = בן
Father and Jesus the son is that Stone!

Whether it’s a single piece of straw or massive pile, all it takes is one match to burn it all down. Christians can elongate their questions and theology as much as they want, one tiny bit of logic will burn it all down.
The House of Jacob shall be fire, And the House of Joseph flame, And the House of Esau shall be straw; They shall burn it and devour it, And no survivor shall be left of the House of Esau —for Hashem has spoken
