Hey mate, love your videos and am generally a huge fan!

One small suggestion on this one: although you sort of imply it in passing at 5:02, I suggest you emphasise (maybe through a text over?) that for a pure server wipe with no change in server config, you MUST delete the .map and .sav files, as this is what actually wipes the server.

A new server owner who doesn't understand this will create problems for their users if they don't delete those files and happen to reuse the same server config sometime down the road.

So I’m planning on wiping my server on the same schedule as FP, but I’m just wondering when I should do the actual restart? They don’t give you a time when they’re force wiping do they? Or is it setup so if you wipe on the same day as force wipe your server doesn’t get wiped a second time on the same day?

I get what to do, I just don’t understand when.

Question, my server host auto updates my oxide when I wipe but what happens to my plugins and config folders? those don’t get deleted when I wipe my server correct?

So just to clarify, I should only need to delete the blueprint and map data to do a 'map & bp" wipe? I know this might sound like a silly question but my host, SurvivalServers, couldn't even be bothered to update wipe methods (Literally information from 2016).

As per-following their instructions and re-booting the server, I had a new map but all my plug-in's no longer worked, all my permissions were gone, and I couldn't get Oxide to work / respond to my commands. I luckily fixed Oxide not working, and just re-installed all my plug-in's (Made backups, given the extremely outdated wipe information looking sketchy.) and restored most of everything, but I still had to re-do all my permissions.

So I guess another question on top of my previous one would be if I want to wipe player built structures, inventories, and blueprints without ruining my plug-in's / permissions, what would I need to change / delete? Thanks for any and all help, your videos have been more helpful then any info on my server hosts website.

I updated my server and then every single one of my plugins broke so then i had to manually redownload everything and it was such a pain in my ass. Someone accidentally cleared BP's too and my server isn't supposed to bp wipe.

Question about decay... I alter my server's decay rate with the decay.upkeep_period_minutes command in console, but is there a way to put this in the startup batch so I don't have to do it every time the server restarts? doesn't work.

Hey man! Absolutely love your videos and they've helped a fair amount! I had a question about the Kits plugin and getting a base as a starter kit on it. I've built a base and saved it via CopyPaste and pasted it to make sure it saved properly. But when I create the kit and add it in and claim it, absolutely nothing happens when the kit is pasted down. Do you know if this is an issue with the Plugin or if I messed something up on it? Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
