The bosses having tremendously high spawn rates on PvE is just a bug that has been present for many weeks now, so definitely not anything to do with the wipe.

They did not always give us a "its tomorrow" heads up. Once (might even be last year) they posted the patch and wipe on twitter 5 hours before.
Like you said: we dont know with BSG. Feels like, firesale might start as soon as in a few hours, when Nikita desires so.

The HPL euro league starts today 14.08 with support of BSG. To me the timing is weird, no idea on wich version of the game they will play

You can also get into labs for free currently, you need to buy a keycard but keep it in your secure container. It doesn't take your card from you once you have entered labs. You can go as many times as you wish, living or dying you just need to purchase 1 card hope this helps. Not sure if this is an event thing or not, my buddies and I ran labs all day yesterday with one card and I do not see anyone posting about it anywhere.
