Bulb is an amazing light weight FREE lighting engine for GameMaker Studio 2. With a little bit of work you can make your own games look fantastic with this small engine.

I'd also like to apologize in advance.... I didn't know I was NOT recording my cursor, and I have fixed this :\

Thanks for the video, I'm going to test this out, I've seen a lot of lighting engines for gamemaker studio that look nice, but the second you add a few lights and objects into a decent sized room, the FPS starts to drop left and right, so hopefully this is an efficient engine, at the very least it'll be something fun to play with.

are your bulb objects importing along with the package import, or did you bring those in separately--I'm assuming they're provided by the bulb release?

I wonder how you change the alpha value from the surface itself? Do you have any thoughts on this? I aim to make brighter rooms by reducing the alpha from the 'fog/shroud' surface that covers all spaces that have no lights.
