Thank you so much for this, Megyn. My husband walked in as I was listening to parts of this and immediately seemed so embarrassed and asked what I was listening to. I started telling him some of the statistics mentioned related to penile health and heart attacks and he couldn't believe it! Heart attacks and diabetes run in his family so it was good to know. What a great doctor too, I learned so much from this show and it was a great break from politics.

I had problems young and during my 30s my wife thought I was cheating because I had no interest in sex. Turns out that my issue was non-existent testosterone. Problem solved. I did lose out on about 10yrs of what should have been the most active time in a young person's life. Make sure your testosterone is checked..

Tackling the tough topic is precisely what separates you from the rest of the dredge. Well done. As a man brought up in "the old fashioned ways, " identifying the logistical issues is so useful. Thank you.

Awesome show, Megyn!! Doc was honest, informative and you asked the right questions. My husband and I are mid life and on this journey. It’s been everything positive and amazing, so far. The show was perfect to be able to open up this conversation to help others! I’m looking forward to the women’s show next week. God bless you❤️🙏

My hubby went to reg doc at the age 41 for ck-up and ED issues, he was ignored because everything tested looked good. 1 year later he had a heart attack had to get stents, 3 months later had a second heart attack because one of the stents failed. His heart doctor said this could have been caught had the primary doctor referred him to a Cardiologist for a checkup. The doc is right, if there is a problem with ED that is the warning sign that something more serious is going on and don't let the MD dismiss you.

Thanks for this! We also need a segment for womens libido and sexual health in menopause! Women are getting dismissed or just offered an anti depressive for these issues! Or told its a natural part of aging! But men get immediate help with sexual issues!

I am a grown man who is struggling to listen to this even though I know it’s incredibly important to understand.

Thank you Megyn for bringing up this issue. You asked the questions that we want to know, but don't want to ask. Thanks for asking them for us.

I've seen cases where a marriage relationship has been harmed by a man's ED and the wife goes through the cycles of hurt and anger and almost as a form of self preservation and marriage preservation, their libido becomes as nonexistent as his. After a man does that to his wife for a period of months or years, it can create just as much new damage for him to think SHE should now accept his sudden libido.

My point is just that there needs to be more than sex therapy after a man has let his ED cause problems in his relationship (because he'd rather not deal with it, even though there are treatments). That couple needs whole marriage and relationship therapy because it's more than just their physical relationship that's suffered - it is their emotional relationship that is hurt most.

Workout daily for about 45-60 minutes of strenuous exercise. Eat high protein, healthy fats, and low carbs. Drink a gallon of water a day. I'm a 44 year old man and the engine is still going strong. Keep up the fire 🔥 Megyn

Brilliant show! Why is this not the standard of care for everyone? Thank you, and the doctor for talking and normalizing these common issues.

I had low T count as well. I was prescribed testosterone gel and now my numbers are high. I feel much better as a result as well. Obesity, which is what I have is probably the cause of my low T. As I have lost weight, that also seems to be helping the testosterone to go up.

Megyn knocked it out of the park with this episode. She really does her homework. Thanks Megyn.

No doubt about it, Megyn Kelly should do more of those health episodes. They are as important as many of those political news debates, whose values are transient and ephemeral. Whereas health issues are fundamental and permanent, and always on our minds.
Note that Megyn Kelly usually waits for the publication of a significant book on some health issue to make it the topic of an episode by interviewing the author. Here in this case, however, there's no new book by Dr. Mohit Khera that seems to be the trigger for selecting the topic of men's sexual health.
Most of those episodes on various health issues are so thorough in their depth and coverage that they are worth revisiting from time to time, even more than once.

I’m glad you brought “light” on th this subject. My uncle that was an agent in the Bureau until he retired @ 1969-1970 told me that Dr King had a drinking problem and also liked to have women come to his hotel rooms when he made speeches etc. I’m now 70 yrs old and if the subject of Dr King would come up I might comment he wasn’t as perfect as you think he was but people would either ignore my comment or think I didn’t know what I was talking about. As you said we are all human and all make mistakes. It would kind of bother me when King would be held to such high standards when I knew he wasn’t without fault. Some people would argue that he was a righteous man. For example President Trump is someone I admire even though I know full well he isn’t perfect but I will admit it. Maybe bc we have better communications these days and are privy to information we couldn’t or just didn’t have back in the 60’s. Anyway I enjoyed your interview.
