The funny thing is that I might start typing to reply then I don't hit send. And come back hours later to see that I was replying but didn't hit send.

I absolutely hate receiving texts during working hours. They interrupt my work flow. . If I text back, it’s very difficult to pick up where I was before the interruption. For that reason, I ask my friends to email me unless it’s an emergency .

1 week later I see them in person.. they’re irked bc they say I never responds.. while I’m there like.. whaaaatchu talking bout Willis 🤨 I remember what I thought & wrote.. I go to check the text to prove them wrong.. badda bing it’s 3/4 a paragraph text, but it’s still just sitting there never sent in the iMessage box 😅

My family has this saying “if you can’t remember it, it’s probably not important” or “well if it’s important you’ll remember it later!” And I always felt so bad because it didn’t work like that for me because I often forget very important things 😢

This is so true for me, I know others gotta wonder what is wrong with me, then I feel bad, and I might start responding, but get sidetracked and then later think about it and am like oh no!! I did it again.🙄

I do this too. And sometimes im doing something else and say "ill respond when i am able to fully concentrate on their message...anddd that hardly happens. Or! Im getting multiple text messages from different people and i forget to message one of them back. 😅

Except when i feel lonely and a person i like texts me, i do answer right away

I try to adopt the Do It Now principle my father spoke of. I hate texting.

Hahaha. I do that when I text and I do it early in the day, when someone says, "Good Morning." I think I said, "Good Morning" back, but I didn't. Partner: "You never say, Good Morning." Me: "Of course, I do."

Not really… I respond quickly… too quickly and then get frustrated that the other person doesn’t text back just as fast…

I’ll answer then check three time to make sure I answered I’ll check turn of my phone check then turn my phone of again then check again

Also:
If the person really matters to me and I have a lot to say in reply, I’ll intentionally put it off “until I have time, ” which will never happen.
