The first flight of the new DJI Air 3 took it up to the max height of 1000m to get 360 shots of Sekinchan Paddy Fields, Malaysia. Very agile and easy to fly and the dual camera is great for different fields of view in the air.

Imagine this, but with the goggles and motion controller in manual mode...
Dive straight down from 1000m up. Just a sensation you cant get otherwise unless you do parachuting.

My US distribute Air 3 max altitude is also 1000 meters (3280 ft) I've flown it up the side of mountains and verified this.

Nice, just bought the same drone myself, yet have yet to fly it, batteries take forever to charge; one whole night and day and still the last battery is not ready.
Very flat there, yet you can still get some nice textures and patterns from the fields. Yet please try not to center the sun on every shot, sometimes it´s ok depending on the background,
yet more often than not, it takes any interest away from the background and becomes flat. Try to lower the craft so as to get more reflections and put the sun to the left, that way you will also have a calm area to compliment the lit area.
What a shame you missed the crane flying into the scene, you could have flown after it. Thanks for your film

How do you fly to 1000 meters? The max height I can select is 500 meters.

Should I buy an "Air 3" directly from "DJI" to get the 1000m clearance other than buying from a local retailer like "Best Buy" which may have a 500m limit?

In the UK the maximum altitude allowed to fly a drone is 120 metres, approximately 400 feet.

This happened with me, I was driving my DJi air 3. It was detecting 31 satellites but was showing Red Cross on it . I started flying it and it went straight up to 120m, broke that ceiling and went to 500m and broke that ceiling and wasn’t responding to my stick command, it went berserk and went up to 2200M and did a force landing. And now it’s not turning at all. Like not even the beep sound from the aircraft or the flash jndicator . No sound. The battery lights up when it is pressed but the aircraft doesn’t do anything
