After my Air 2 bit me I stopped hand catching. I forgot to turn the sensors off and as I was going up to grab it and came down sliced my finger pretty good. Buuut with those soft tips on the Air 3I may go back to it! Thanks Russ. Awesome job on all the Air 3 info 👌

I've got this drone, and it's a beast. I mostly hand-catch it too. Make sure to put it in sport mode before hand-catching it. Otherwise, the sensors won't let it land.

What I’d like to see is how you’d hand catch while standing on a moving boat with rigging around you? Hand catching as you’re demonstrating here is easy pretty much with any drone.

Ive only flown mine a few times and will retry this lol. Im over here jumping up and down tryin to catch the damn thing... jk.. Couldn't one engage return to home and then press pause at a low enough height to grab it? I was short on time when I got a flight in and cant remember if the sensors work when paused is pressed...

Sir... I have Air 3. When I take off and start the drone, sometimes the gimbal vibrates. There is no problem in the video, but is it normal that the gimbal vibrates while taking off???

What he does is just letting the drone see another starting point. Click land and the new altitude is set on your hand. Normally you won't catch it unless you want to run the risk of being cut severly.

This is exactly how the air 2 and spark hand catch. Except the spark didnt run away when you reach.. so technically it's the easiest.
