You really just have to hit the lemon trees in the ruins with another fruit.
When you grow them in gardens you don't have to worry about losing other fruits.

She made that so much more complicated then it is if you go in the ancient ruins to the right when you first enter go to the second ball open it (it’s on top of a tree) go back where you came but go left there’s a path you can follow that takes you right to where she went and it’s so much easier. Sorry for the bad instructions I’m horrible at explaining stuff

Ive been playing slime rancher for almost a year and I still havent found the quantum gordo. Thanks to you, i found him! (After losing 3 good save files... :P)
