I gave in a bought a grandpa weed puller- specifically the Corona weed puller. It's actually really nice being able to go out for a couple minutes each night to pop weeds (and clumping grass) without kneeling and getting dirty. The weed killers (tenacity and speedzone) seem to work slower this time of the year in NJ simply cause we have fluctuating temps where the plant draws the chemical in at different rates- I somehow end up with dandelions that still bloom frosted white while dying. You to need to manually remove some of these to nip them early.

Decompact soil if possible. (Which is actually one of the Jobs of this plants root system) Fertilize with calcium =dandelion's gone. The plants job is to pump calcium from the deep within the soil.

I ordered a bottle a few days ago and I’m waiting for it to arrive. My question is. Should I mow my lawn before I treat the weeds or after I treat them? My backyard is probably 50-75% weeds. The prior owners of my property did no lawn maintenance at all and I couldn’t afford to sod my property right now.

I've managed to control most weeds in my lawn however I now have a big problem with grass weeds especially poa annua, how can I get rid of this? Its so invasive and is now taking over my much loved lawn. Its spring time here in NZ so all the seeds have now popped up.
