Back home, we immediately hoisted the car up and disconnected everything exhaust-related after the manifolds. So it was not just straight-piped, it was no-pipe. The sound was incredible. It was enough to give my best mate a scare, so it was totally worth it.
We couldn't just leave it at revving the engine in the garage, so we took it out on the country road. You can tell from my reaction that I was just thrilled to get the car moving, but at that point, I didn't fully realize what we were in for.
After the drive, we jumped straight into planning. With all the stress of buying the car, we'd forgotten to actually buy a garage. But that's what we'll tackle in the next episode.
