Windows 11 has an issue where a lot of empty folders are being created

Unfortunately this bug has now moved from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and can create thousands of temporary folders in the System 32 directory.
File path: C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local

Keep an eye out for fresh content uploaded regularly.

It used to be a problem in Windows 10. If you profile got corrupted, it creates you a temporary files while you try to solve the problem. It's annoying and waste space for nothing. You have to disable "creating temporary profile" in Group Edit.

Weird lol Didn't have many on this machine so I deleted them...but this is a new machine. Out of curiousity i'll see how many are on my secondary machine though

P.s., anyone on the Windows Insider dev channels should not need to worry about this bug, Insha’Allah (God Willing), because dev builds essentially re-images your PC. (ie installs a brand new copy of Windows. While your apps and files are migrated, the system files are all brand new. All of the existing copied of system files are dumpted in the windows.old folder and eventually deleted (in ~10 days or when the next build is installed—whichever comes first).

If you are NOT on the dev channel, no worries, you can, Insha’Allah (God Willing), enjoy this benefit by mounting the Win11 stable ISO image (same major build number as your PC), and just reinstall on top of your existing OS. Go with the “Keep apps and files” option. This refreshes your PC, clears out any empty folders, and EVEN resets all kinds of unofficial tweaks from 3rd party software, registry hacks, and user-modded system files, back to their factory state. This is one of the EASIEST ways to dramatically increase the stability of your PC that has been running Windows 11 for many months.

all these issues just prove that Microsoft rushed this OS to fast, They should have concentrated on just ironing out all of windows 10 issues and then updated it's interface. I believe their rushing of this had to do with this same metaverse crap that made facebook change it's name to meta. they wanted something that would be compatable with the metaverse an that is likely the reason for all the rigid requirements n my opinion!

By the way, i face a bug in Windows 10
My pc is all good without any corruption
THE Windows search box becomes black, half or quarter black, ramdomly
Just a click on it makes it normal
Any idea what can i do??

I noticed when you clicked on config it opened with other folders within, my config will not open at all however a search for tw or .tmp found no folders on my up to date win 11.

Sir if you are deleting this, your Windows 11 will 10 × faster. Sir I deleted it, it is working fine.
