James Gunn has become one of my favourite filmmakers working in Hollywood todayas the man has incredible talent behind the camera and has given us some of the most wellmade and visually awe-inspiring CBM:s in decades. Hes bot only a fantastic director but also a professional who understands how to manage and prioritize his time towards making thses films to the best condition he can make them and treats his cast and crew with respect and admiration like any good person should do. He truly was the perfect pick to direct Superman and pioneer the DCU for a brand new reboot.

This is why I am more excited for the dcu than the mcu. Plus I see some snyder fans saying the dcu will flop well I don't think so both box=office terms and in audience interest cuz many ppl are excited for the new dcu and looks like gunn cares about every aspect of the dcu and I will be there with him in day 1.

James Gunn has made many master pieces with Scooby Doo 2002, Scooby Doo 2 monsters unleashed, The guardians trilogy, Super 2010, (I think) and Suicide Squad and now Superman is probably going to be added to this list

The trick to good VFX is having directors and producers who either have experience in that field or are curious enough to learn about that aspect of their productions and a good director or producer should be curious about the workings of every aspect.

Most old Hollywood producers think that this shit is done with the click of a button.

Gareth Edwards did this as well. Before THE CREATOR had done it's vfx, he edited the film together first. Then gave the final cut to the vfx artist.
