I did mine yesterday after I watched your video. It was easy the only place I would say I messed up on was cutting. So the more time you take the better it will be. The static tint is WAY easier than normal tint

I ordered the same GILA film. And the directions are all for the standard sticky film. Not the cling type.

I recommend leaving a little bit more on the bottom so you have some room for error, the extra can get tucked behind the weather strip.

I’m still trying to make sure I got this right. So you’re taking the tint. Cutting it to size on the outside then transferring it all onto the inside part. All with the same cut piece of tint right

How does it work puttinf sticky side down on the outside forst snd cutting it because then sticky sode would be backwards when you go to the inside unless ylu go to the other side window of the car

I know this video is a little old, but I just came across it after failing to do walmart tint like 5 times in a row. I am the least artistic person in the world and I cut straight lines like I'm Michael J Fox. Does it matter which side clings to the window? Can I leave the backing on when I stick it to the outside of the window, and then use a sharpie to trace the shape, then take it to a flat surface to take my time and cut?
