how to change the heater control panel bulb. this is a 2003 Jetta but lots of Vw's are the same as this.

I changed the ashtray bulb with an led. It's the same size. Learned that there was a bulb smaller than a T10. Lol. I used a tweezer, its more delicate. Good to see Courtland back. Courland and Bob, now that's a match and a half if ever there was one. Great work guys.

I use a small hose, that just fits over the bulb and slid over a wooden dowel. The dowel acts as a stop and a pusher for the bulb.

Glad to see that business is picking up for you. Thanks for sharing the tips and tricks of the Volkswagon. I remember needing to pull out my headlight switch on my 06 Jetta, becoming frustrated because it's anything but intuitive. A quick youtube search revealed the answer to the puzzle and of course it was simple. Taught me to check with the more experienced VW folks when doing anything.

Vacuum hose works great. After install just twist it off the bulb.
