You can also use magic bullet grinder to create proxies for easier editing

I have a really good setup that work paid for years ago 🎉. I once had a 23 minute 4k file. Instead of waiting for the proxy file, I simply placed the full clip in the timeline, produced it as 1280x720 and changed that file to "xyz", I used that as my clip to edit. Once I was done with the simple edit, I would go back and change the actual 4k file's name to "xyz" and produce a clip from the original 4k to obviously a 4k file. Now if I decided to edit THAT file, I'd have to repeat the process if it was still a long video. This, to me, was way faster than waiting on the proxy. Nice work, man!!👍🏾

I use anafi drone footage in my vlogs.
I capture at 4k 30fps. I use movavi to create.
Films look great on phones and tablets but when I watch on large TV drone footage flickers as gimbel moves up. Flickers rather than stutters.
Its annoying me Haha.

Great video my friend and great help to me I have the mavic 2 zoom and I wasn't able to download the footage so I had to use the 1080p and 2.7k when recording just so I could have footage to edit on my Huawei p20 phone as I don't have a laptop yet so thanks for making this video big help to me keep safe and fly safe 👍👍

So THM files are proxy files for editing?

Hi, this is something I’m really interested in, so thanks for the vid as my laptop is 9 hrs old and my Fimi X8 SE 2020 4K vids is difficult to edit on my laptop. The camera on the Fimi produces its proxy (THM) files when recording, so that’s a plus. I would like to follow your example on editing, but one issue I have is that how do you ‘fool’ the Cyberlink PowerDirector software. You just changed the file name?!?? I can’t fully understand how by doing that fools the software in changes the edited proxy files with the full 4K files, maybe you can clarify, thanks.

I don't get it so does export come out in full res since it'd just a shadow file?
