Immigration experts say Donald Trump's mass deportation plan, if carried out, could be complicated and cost billions a year. It could also lead to more family separations.

"60 Minutes" is the most successful television broadcast in history. Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news, the broadcast began in 1968 and is still a hit, over 50 seasons later, regularly making Nielsen's Top 10.

I don't think it matters how old a person is. If you break the law, you should be held accountable. Trump is not too old to go to jail.

There’s a huge shortage of ICE agents… why don’t all these people who want mass deportation apply for these ICE jobs? They’re hiring

Ask Steven Miller if national guard will help IRS collect taxes.

In this life, there are two types of migrants: those who come to contribute and add value, and those who come to do nothing and be a burden

Most people come here illegally because they know Americans will hire them. And a lot of these are republicans, especial farmers.

I like how he talks about it’s a crime to be in this country illegally and there needs to be accountability. Ok fair enough, it’s a crime to hire them! Where is the talk about that and holding businesses accountable? Yet again another classic example of businesses doing whatever they want without recourse.

Can Americans go to another country illegally and set up shop there??

Sure, just like he built that wall in 2017 and had Mexico pay for it 🤡🙄

In the whole clip there was no mention of the large numbers of illegal immigrants who enter with a valid visa and overstay. If you don't fix that then the problem isn't fixed.

There is a systemic problem -- greed. We have allowed many of our economic sectors, to take advantage of the American people. It's disgusting and frightening for the future of our country. I plan to retire at 62 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life. I could fully just rely on only my SS if I wanted to when that times arrives but I'll also have at least one pension, a 403 (b) and a very prolific lnvestment account with my Abby Joseph Cohen my FA. Retiring comfortably in the US these days is almost impossible

Just a minor example but a true story that I witnessed with my own eyes, in 1987 in Miramar Florida I was working in a new housing development with about 40-50 houses in various stages of construction. Mid morning I noticed an unusually large amount of vehicle traffic on the road in front of of the house I was working on, suddenly there was a helicopter overhead and people running up and down the street, 23 Mexican Nationals were handcuffed and sat on the edge of the road. The following week the company that is responsible for building the shell of the house (first stage of home building) had only 2 people on the job site. About two weeks elapsed until the slowdown got to my phase of construction and I was forced to find work from a different company because the company I subcontracted from had nothing to offer. This was temporary I’m sure as new workers were hired eventually but a lot of us missed a couple weekly paychecks as a result. I can imagine this on a large scale. I would prefer they had come in and brought immigration lawyers and helped these exploited hard workers become residents and eventually citizens. This would have been a better outcome for everyone.

it's not you - it's not me - it's all the OTHER PEOPLE they will be after. you will come later

If the US stopped fighting the failure of the war on drugs and helped to rebuild what they helped destroy that would actually cause people to stop coming. And people say well its against the law so that inherently makes it bad that they come. But sometimes the law is stupid. For example if you got caught with a certain amount of weed you used to be able to get a life sentence. Alcohol used to be prohibited.

They are having mass deportations all over Europe. People may have their wants, but they can't act on that, because there are laws in place. If you are not a citizen of my country, don't come here unless you do it through the courts.

Do you think people who came Legally - who often waited years for family reunification - is fair to accept those people who came ILLEGALLY?

This looks like about a dozen officers arresting one 24 year old and took all night. How could they arrest 2, 700 every day? That would take 32, 876 agents 230, 136 hours

I think they need to focus on criminals, stop new entires, create a better vetting system, create a path to citizenship for those working and paying taxes, reform the current system so people who want to move here legally don’t have to go through so many hoops.
