Easy Pumpkin Pie - Best Pumpkin Pie Ever - Classic Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie - The Hillbilly Kitchen

How to Make Pumpkin Pie - Easy Recipe - Pumpkin pie is a very easy pie to make and no Thanksgiving is complete without a pumpkin pie. It is a delicious tradition that you and your family will enjoy.

This is my mom's version of the Libby pie recipe. My mom taught me how to make pumpkin pie when I was a kid and I still make it her way. My family likes pumpkin pie above all other pies and I believe it's because of this special recipe.

Remember to PUT GOD FIRST!
1 Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

Ingredients:

15 ounce can - Whole pumpkin
12 ounce can - Evaporated milk
2 - Eggs
3/4 cup - Packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon - Salt
1 teaspoon - Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon - Ginger
1/4 teaspoon - Nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon - Cloves
Unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Hi Becky! I popped a tire running over some tools that had fallen off a work vehicle and made it to a John Deere business before it went completely flat. I and my boss (Mark) were trying to put on the spare but he has a bad rotator cuff. I asked the workers for help and two of them came to our rescue. I asked their names and thanked them very much and their names were Matthew John, (First and middle name) and Luke the second one. I had 4 of the disciples and was back on the road in 45 mins on my way home. God does know how to show up and show His Glory! A THANKSGIVING STORY - A man I worked for some years ago, described his wife as culinarily challenged. He told us a story about the time she tried to make pumpkin pies. He said the pies were already baking in the oven when she realized she'd left out the eggs. So, she opened the oven door, pulled the rack out, broke the eggs into the pies, and stirred them in with a fork! 🤣🤣🤣

I'm so glad for this video, Becky! I always make the pumpkin pies for my family's Thanksgiving and I have wondered before about using brown sugar! I'll be trying it this week when I bake. I also loved that you mentioned cloves, I tried that several years ago, and really thought it added flavor!!
I'm so thankful for Jesus, I can't tell you how many times I have wondered where I would be without Him. I worked Sundays for years and couldn't go church, this past year I retired, and prayed for guidance in finding a good church. I found a great church and am so thankful to the Lord for that!!!
