KLM 777-200 business class might not seem all that impressive at first glance. However, after getting the chance to experience it on a 10 hour flight between Amsterdam and San Francisco, I’m happy to report that it doesn’t suck. Not a lot anyway.

This is a full review of KLM flight number 605 (AMS-SFO). I had seat 2K (in business class) for this very fast 10 hour flight, and the aircraft registration was PH-BQF.

I actually love that royal delft blue china...I think its the perfect china for KLM to use for serving. AMS-SFO was a 747 route for so long, it's a bit sad to see it serviced by the 772 and 789, but even though you got an older aircraft, a lot of the business class experience is in the quality of the crew and it sounds like you were pretty happy with them. And anytime you can fly into SFO and SAN on the same day, it's not a bad gig.

Im a little late to the party, but it's worth it, because the exact aircraft this was filmed on was the first 777 I've ever been on, and the first aircraft i ever slept on

KLM are updating all there business class seats starting from next year 2023. If you booked earlier you probably would of gotten the flight way cheaper . I booked my business class several months early and got my business class including return £2000 . which is $2600 that includes taxes . Business class via klm is pretty damn good even with the older seats compared to the Dreamliner, cabin crew are always amazing.

Flying KLM for the first time in June from Chicago to Amsterdam but in cattle class (I doubt it will be that empty in June, but at least we are leaving on the 2nd before the main summer surge starts). We were supposed to be on the 777-200 but it is has now been switched to the 787-10, and I am hoping they have a great upgrade deal to Business Class so I can try the seats, but it would have to be a really great deal since my wife and daughter are also flying with me on that trip.

When I flew KLM in the summer, I noticed the plane name. It was Busy Lizzie on one side, and Vlijtig Liesje on the other. I was unaware that this was a flower, and having Bluebell for the return trip would continue this theme. And thus, the 787s are named after flowers. The 777s are in two categories, the 300s are national parks, but the 200s are heritage sites. Ferarra City is in northern Italy where many renaissance buildings are located. The 737s are birds, the A330s are famous town squares and when they flew 747s they were named after famous cities.

Oh, and even in Economy, KLM is a pretty good flight. Could have had a wider seat, at 17 inches I wound up getting run into on the aisle a little too often to catch any sleep, but service was excellent. I'd fly them again from ORD-AMS-ORD.

Cool flight bro, we flew AMS to DFW a few years back booked on KLM but they flew us on a delta 767 last minute in economy, it was torturous , cheers 🍻.

Even tho I have never flown with them, I can tell KLM is probably one of the most underrated airlines in premium cabins
