Katie Couric is the executive producer of a new documentary on Amazon Prime called "For Life & Life: No Ordinary Campaign."

The former CBS Evening News anchor & TODAY Show host weighs in on the presidential race, presidential debates, and changes in media.

She also discusses why this documentary moved her so much.

I believe that as far as prices go, i believe its price gouging. I am in Florida. Publix prices are a $1- $3 per item. I shop at Walmart but they can raise prices because of the difference between them and Publix. Also gas stations within 10 miles, same stations( Murphy). Are thirty cents difference per gallon . Once out of Florida prices drop. Gas is $30-$50 cents less a gallon. I read that Publix between 2022-2023 grossed 49 million. Come on please stop blaming Bidy for what is happening. IT'S PRICE GOUGING!!!!

Katie is the mature, informed, sensible voice we so badly need. She is spot on when calling out that debates specifically, and the political arena generally, have become a circus. 🤡 The circus is hard to ignore, but not serving up the the news that people need to make informed decisions. I beg news outlets to consider ethics, public service, or even karma, over clicks, traffic and SEO. Give voices to the grown ups, talk about things we care about, believe me, you will have spectacular success.

My most favourite morning show, NBC’s the today show. I believe not all former hosts have yet felt or tried to make good! Savannah Guthrie tried but was most likely ordered to stop! Her earpiece that made her shut up. A voice from the control room! Katie Couric to this day escaped any responsibility or consequence!
