Honestly, the one on Sheriff’s window really got me… they were having a very serious conversation so I really didn’t see that coming

One of my biggest fears is seeing a unrecognizable form in the dark with two small, shining eyes, so this monster really got me 😩

The one outside Erin’s window brought a primal fear out of me. You’re expecting something to suddenly pop out. But the fact its figure was actually there and you just couldn’t make it out from the start is much more terrifying.

The scoring was great. It was so dark for most of these scenes, I never actually saw the monster with the kids in the woods, outside Erin’s house or out the window of the Sheriff’s house. I barely saw a shape in some scenes, just the eyes.

I love that the “angel” is out of focus when it’s standing in front of the door of the church. Even when it’s the big reveal they don’t immediately show it off.

The one on Sheriffs window really got me. It reminded me of that movie Signs when the alien was standing outside the little girls bedroom window. One of my biggest jump scares when I was a kid cuz my window overlooked the roof too.. midnight mass scene was so similar really freaked me out.

I never noticed that as it feeds it looks younger. Compare how it looks in the tomb vs how it looks in the last episode.

The scene where the guy is calling into the abandoned house and the echo is delayed is so goddamn unnerving.

The only gripe I really have with the look of the Angel is that I wish they would’ve made the face more flat, almost like a Voldemort type of look except not exactly that…like at 0:28 his face looks flatter and it’s creepy as hell, I feel like if it also looked like that in the light the Angel would’ve been 10x more terrifying than he already was…

I never ever jump at scenes….it was late at night, had my headphones on and the first time you see the glowing eyes when the kids were in the uppers….almost shit myself

I love how in this series the characters do really long monologues and then have a random jump scare in there. It’s so effective you really don’t see it coming

Its the deception of monsignor implying that this creepy creature supposedly being an angel under his impression carried the entire plot. And the conclusion being complete demise rather than a supposed blessing

It is hilarious to think that, given how tall the Angel is, his face peeking behind the lower corner of the sheriff's house window means he was probably squating or crawling the entire time lmao
