I don't believe for a second that slots are "random". Play any standard 3 line slot and you will see a LOT of huge winning spins show up on the top and bottom line. Either jackpot hits or multiplier and 7 combinations which would by big hits if they appeared on the center pay line. Not just sometimes but over and over you see these winning hits on the top and bottom line. IF the machines were truly random you would see them just as often on the center paying line. But you don't. Not even by a very small percentage.

Also several of the local casinos have rows of slot machines which have progressive jackpots which add up and are "Guaranteed to hit by $100, 000". So of course as the progressive nears that level the machines are all in full use at a rapid rate as people try and get it. The fact they can guarantee it will hit by that amount proves they can control if it hits or not

If I may add? In the early 90s, working at the Riviera hotel, we ran fiber optics from a main frame to each video machine. Up through the floor, into each machine bank. From there it went to each machine. Now what youll hear is this? The manufacturers, by law cannot make rigged machines, they are all programmed randomly. Once they are bought by a casino? new programs are installed. It will say when a machine will hit, how much, how many times.The Nevada state control board allows this because? What you dont see in Vegas anymore are Gambling houses, Everything now is gaming. Why is that you ask? Because the Nevada State Control board wont allow rigged gambling. Because its a ? gamble. However, it does allow rigged gaming, because it is a game. Each slot machine gets taxed an income tax while on the floor, Add that, the Bills the hotels has to pay such as power water etc. Add the salaries of its employees, the stock holders and the great packages the CEOs get? Thats a lot of money. The hotel can make? 12 Million dollars in profit, but? If it doesnt meet it projected net income of 18 million? Theres layoffs and bonuses not being paid out. So the hotel ensures its going to make money. And through the fiber optics, is how they set this. Nevada isn't ranked 48 in the Nation in corruption cause its fare. And if you think thats something? Try the court system. Go to Hawaii, Its so greedy here now, you have to pay to park. They know to the dollar, what they need each machine to make per month. before it hits. If its busy? the internal clock variable should be able to create enough variation to eliminate any exploitability. If it is not doing that then I assume that they are using the seconds from the clock and not the full definition of the clock which would be based on the megahertz clock speed
