I'm definitely more manic than I am depressed, and they last a long time. It's stressful being manic for a long time, I'm so glad I'm medicated.

I have bd2. I spend most of my time stable because I am medicated, but without medications I fall into depressive episodes more often and for longer periods of time than I do with hypomanic. My hypomanic episodes usually only last, at most, a few days. My depressive episodes can last for months. I suffer anxiety on top of bd2.

My experience is generally more towards the middle in the dysphoric range. But my understanding is that's the goal of treatment. That way, you keep your fluctuations small so that they do less damage to your life. But tends to be a little more mixed, but also more manageable.

Please make a video the covers bipolar, one with mixed episodes. My ex had mania episodes, where he wasn’t elated, he was mean, Horrible, degrading, and sometimes even homicidal. Once he knew that I wanted a divorce, it became 100 times worse. He was eventually indicted for attempted. Aggravated murder and pled guilty to medicine by stalking family breach protection he was also diagnosed with cognitive disorder.

I'm type 1 with manic polarity. Before I was properly medicated/treated, I would cycle between mania and hypomania with little to no relief. While manic, I was always severely psychotic {likely because I wouldn't sleep for weeks}, and usually ended up in the hospital. It's an awful thing to live with but thankfully can be manageable with the right treatment

I've had 3 manic episodes and a ballpark figure of about a gazillion depressed ones. But I had a full blown manic episode so here my ass is, Bipolar 1

I'm BP2 and pretty much baseline mildly depressed at all times and then I have episodes of major depression or hypomania. But it's kinda hard to tell because my worst and longest episodes are usually mixed. Right now I've been in a depressive episode for 9 months with two rounds of psychotic depression. I just really want a nice little hypomanic episode right now to break it up 😭

My girlfriend has bipolar and i NEED someone to help me with answers so when we argue sometimes she keeps arguing long after she knows shes wrong she even tries to change the subject to one where she thinks she right just to keep arguing and sometimes she argues in public to the point of causeing a small scene to nearby people idk if bipolar is something that clouds judgment or is it just what you feel and you still think clearly this is also something we argue about when she tries to apologize i say you should just stop in the moment instead of senceless arguing for up to 30 minutes she blames the bipolar but im not sure if that's how it works would love to have a third party to bring some clarity
