Vauxhall/Opel/Holden Vectra C Wiper Repair

Disclaimer I'm not an Mechanic or a Auto Electrician I'm solely doing this video to help others with a similar issue.

I own a 2006 Vauxhall Vectra C 1.9cdti 16v 150bhp SRI Model I'm confident from the lowest spec to highest spec this part should be the same.

New years Eve whilst working in Wrexham my wipers failed I immediately went to Europarts on my break to which they sold me a clip sadly it didn't work. I got the wipers working but with no bush linkage so I had a fun 18 miles to drive home obviously raining.

I ordered linkages which didn't come on time bushes off Amazon useless as you will see. Last resort I ordered a £219 linkage from Euro parts to pick up 7/1/25. Meant cancellation of shifts in work. To make things worse the battery also went so I had the fun drive again to Chester to replace it appalling weather and wipers were terrible to the point I had to pull over a few times.

Today I went to Wirral Spares Birkenhead Wirral and purchased a new second hand linkage for £50 and a wiper arm from Green Lane Birkenhead Wirral for £10.
