New Snap-on ratchets! (my go-to cold weather tool)

As we all know, snap-on makes some of the best ratchets out there (for a pretty penny). I purchased these ratchets for the soft grip handles so I don't freeze my hands off in the winter.

Thanks for your amazing video! I have one question, so I bought a new ratchet from snapon truck, and it leaking oil type of liquid from the square drive. I know you know lots of snapon products. Is it normal? Thanks!!

Out of all the snap on stuff ive bought, i will say their ratchets are among the top best tools they make. Competitors cant compare to the feel and quality of their ratchets.

For future reference, if you're ever looking for something snap-on and don't necessarily need brand new, check out ebay. You can really score some super sweet deals. Especially ratchets, theres 1000s of them listed. Ive bought upwards of 30+ snap on ratchets off of ebay, for half or less of the price off the truck. Really cant beat that.

Is the SNAP-ON 3/8" Drive Dual 80 Technology Hard Grip Standard Handle Flex-Head Ratchet (Orange) / Model: FHFD80AO a good choice?
Like generations before me. I am about to start building my adult tool kit and I’m a sucker for wranglerstar and I guess retail +30% pricing I like the orange a lot but I don’t know if I can get a complete set in the orange? And is it a good set for general maintenance and a little extra?
This world of premium tools is new to me and there’s a lot to learn and it’s very expensive so I’d like to make the right choice.

I like the comfort grip style but still grab the SK especially when the job gets oily.

i love my Snap-on ratchets but i like the hard plastic handles and the metal i have one comfort grip tho

How does that Snap on (non-quick release) work with your current socket sets? I currently have SK, Gearwrench and SnapOn (FLF80) ratchets. While my SK and Gearwrench work well with my Craftsman and SK sockets, I find that the Snap-On ratchet takes quite a bit of effort to remove a socket. At times I have to pry the sockets off with a screwdriver.
