In term of specs the 5 Pro and Legion 7 wont be that big of a difference.
The Legion 7 looks and feel more premium. That aluminum actually isnt just on the back but it actually wraps around the entire laptop on the side/front. The RGB on the 7 just seems more "refined" and also of course more RGB everywhere. How do I know this? I was just at a local Microcenter and from seeing and touching them both you could tell which one cost more. If you go to Lenovo site, its a 500 difference but I personally dont think its worth it.

I did build your own on Lenovo website and the Legion 7 with Intel 12800HX was about $325 more after all promo codes and cashback, compared to the Legion 5 Pro I bought with Ryzen 6800H, now I'm starting to regret getting the 5 pro

IMO a combo of AMD (for quieter and cooler temps)/ Intel (for additional small features and software optimization) for CPU and Nvidia GPU (with most of the well-known software from adobe, Autodesk, and blender using CUDA and Optix for GPU accelerated tasks ) is a much better option than going full AMD even compared to the AMD advantage edition.

I had saved more when I purchased my predator i9 12th gen with 3070ti. The price is much less than the legion 5i pro. Best deal I got 👍🏻
