Yesterday some friends wanted me to spend 20 dollars to play disc golf. It took everything to do. I physically get sick spending a penny.

Since I budget everything for one month at a time, when someone invites me to do something that costs money, after the budget is already set, I say "I can't this month, but let's schedule it for next month." I try to make all of my plans for the following month and be sure to put it in the budget. Also, you can plan "I want to do 1 coffee date this month and spend x dollars." Or "a friend might invite me to a movie..."
Decide on purpose what is important to you to spend your money on and put it in the budget.

Do YOU!!! You have goals and expectations of yourself. Though you never mentioned the financial status of these 'friends', I bet they are nowhere in tune with your desires. Stay on your path, but treat yourself now and then.

I have no time to spend with friends because I am always working. I feel no pressure to be with friends. My goal is to finish up my 8 unit apartment building to rent out in order to retire young. Once that's done, I ll have time and I will intentionally choose my new friends.

Hoarding cash money is a natural response to the level of fear and panic we're seeing.

Considering how many people have been SHUT DOWN and their businesses are earning NOTHING, it's totally logical to hoard money. For the time being, there's no end in sight and people are afraid just to be around other people.

I got my Federal Tax Return and waiting on my State. I am doing my best not to spend any of it - although I want to take summer vacation in Bali using my normal business class flight ($3000) and a condotel ($800). Thing is, right now, I can't even be certain I'll be able to reserve that trip, nor do I know what this summer or fall look like for me.

i feel like this exactly! Honestly thinking about getting a therapist I have money but anytime I spend anything on myself for exp a $20 shirt at the mall I feel guilty then it gets so bad i’ll go return it

I'm debt-free and am leaving 90% of my estate to charity. That's partly why I am so frugal.
