The salary cannot be compared btw US and India. Cost of living is high in US whereas in India it's not. The cost of living comparison is like 1, 00, 000 lakh in India are 3, 77, 000 in US. If a person is earning $1, 00, 000 dollars in US, then it is equal to 23 lakhs in India, not rs83, 00, 000.PPP is applied while doing comparison.
