Could another YouTube Adpocalypse be right around the conrer? Google is being accused of scamming advertisers, according to a Wall Street Journal article. Will this result in advertisers pulling their advertising spends off the platform like they did in 2017?

I’ve called them out for some of the feminine product ads. You can’t demonetize a YouTuber for saying one word but then monetize others with ads using the same word. Hypocrites.

I get more "medical misinformation" from YouTube ads than from any creator. Every other ad is for some ridiculous product that pretends to solve an issue you should really go to the doctor for.

The adpocalipse is going to happen, the ads are increasing. It will be a hell for small content creators. Corporations will be ok.

I have also noticed how YouTube ads have changed recently: shady health products, fitness programs loaded with bad info, and who else is sick of seeing Ryan Reynolds ads?
AND I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED: The pandemic happened. Nearly all businesses had to tighten their belts which means that the bigger companies with reputable ads for reputable products all pulled their ads and realized that nothing much changed. The effectiveness of YouTube ads was revealed to be next to nothing. Everyone is furiously tapping that skip ad button everytime. Interrupting the content people want to see with other content they don't want to see is kind of a bad marketing strategy.

Youtube and Google need to burn to the ground. They can't tell you what rule you broke when they ban you, because if they did, you would be able to side-skirt their rules...think about what I just said for a moment. They seriously expect you to follow the rules when you don't even know what they are...this can't possibly be ripe for abuse (Reddit mods).

Dude youtube has gone nuts, Youtube gave a suspension to a channel I follow that has people in super rural Pakistan trying American food, Oreo's, grilled cheese, stuff like that, it's milder than milk, no swearing, nothing political .
