Actually tho, Felix to the Ad-pocalypse was like what the assassination of the Austrian Archduke was to WW1.
Yeah, it was probably gonna happen anyway but what happened around him at that time definitely caused a chain reaction.

They even saw him by the bridge 🎵
It wasn't him.

The sad thing is it had to happen eventually since YouTube had become so mainstream, people just needed someone to blame it on, so when the biggest YouTuber on the platform makes a controversial video that ended up being the excuse.

He didn't start it but he kinda popped the bubble. He was just unlucky the fact that the bubble had accumulated so big that a slight poke would pop it.

Everyone: “hahah the bridge”

Me: “Logan Paul filming a dead body and laughing at it, apologising after then immediately tazes a dead rat”

“The bridge” has nothing to do with the start of the ad-pocalypse. If y’all don’t remember Felix payed 2 Indian dudes on fiverr to hold up a sign that said “Death for all Jews” or something close to that. Which he thought they would not dare to do.
But low and behold they did it. Felix was extremely shocked when he saw the video to say the least.
These 2 Indian dudes were holding up and pointing at the sign, while they both were laughing in a jokingly matter.
Instead of not putting it in his video he did it anyway.
Which with the past claims from the Wall Street Journal that Felix was a nazi wasn’t this the brightest idea. (“No Really?!”)
Previous to this he dressed as a WW2 soldier, which the media claimed it to be a nazi uniform of some sort. While also having short clips of Hitler in his videos (which us viewers knew were jokes, but the public did not).

Myself at that time thought that he would get ahold of himself. But instead of doing that he decided to come out guns blazin with dissing The Wall Street Journal. “Nice Try Wall Street Journal. Try Again Motherfucker👄🖕🏼”

And boy did they try again…

So with that fiverr video from Felix it was like the cherry on top.
Losing his partnership with Disney (ironic), Pepsi pulling ads off of YouTube etc.
That was like the gunshot for everything that happened later on.
“The bridge” came in later on.

You could just tell that this dude was over with being the worlds #1 subscribed channel while also being in the spotlight so to say the least. Which is the reason why he wanted to delete his channel earlier that year…

He's like "it wasn't me!" but he's literally the inspiration for the phrase "gamer word".

Viewers: “it was bound to happen eventually, but it wasn’t Felix’s fault!”
YouTubers: “Felix did it, and everything is so mid now”

Creators wanted to blame someone and Felix was the biggest. He was not the most toxic creator, far from it

Perhaps his videos add up to the flame, but he wasnt the cause. There are videos of terrorist beheading some kidnapped victims and some other gruesome videos.

Did everyone forget this happened bc of ONE butthurt ass "journalist" writing to youtube sponsors and only used Felix as an example bc he was the biggest
