Awesome, mine finally works for the very first time!
I bought it new when the 1st Gen came out and was always in the box until about a year ago. I could never get it to work, even though thanks to the other videos I did get close.
I found that the 'request to pair' pop-up window vanished too quickly before I could accept it to 'Pair', today I didn't miss.

Yeah my iPad pencil pairs fine but will not work, I’ve tried everything. It recognizes it, it will show in the dock but will not write.

What if when I plug in the pencil to the gen 10 iPad and nothing pops up and it doesn’t show in Bluetooth( it hasn’t been connected before)

I dropped mine and the inner yellow tip was bent, I bent it back to how it used to be, but it doesn’t work anymore, is it irreversible?

Hi, question: I have been using my Apple Pencil and one day it just stopped working, this has happened before and i usually just do forget device then repair it with my adapter, but this time I pressed forget device and tried to pair it again nothing happened. I watched other videos saying replace the tip or heat the pencil up, it’s not working and I really can’t afford a new one, can you give me advice?😢

Thanks so much for the video! My apple pencil gen 1 wouldnt connect to my ipad gen 9, and after unscrewing the tip and screwing it back in it worked immediately!

Mine connects even tho I don’t have Bluetooth but it doesn’t scribble when I try to go test it just pushes the thing up

I've had an issue a couple of times where I plugged my 1st gen pencil into the ipad and the batter got drained from the pencil instead of charged. I really wonder why that is happening. My ipad model is zhe pro 10.5 inch.

I updated my Apple airpad to iOS 17.4.1 and since then my pencil freezes up and the double tap feature to change from writing to eraser doesn’t work!! Any solutions?
