I think Palpatine and Snoke were the result of Hux's cloning program, "Necromancer." I think Gideon's motives were to create a race of super soldiers that were force sensitive, beskar-wearing warriors.

I think Gideon is looking into cloning to position himself as the new emperor since they established that "project necromancer" is a separate thing under Hux.

*Now i think they are explaining how "somehow palpatine returned"!*

"Somehow palpatine returned" could actually become a decent line once that plot gets expanded and we see how the empire hides their experiments.

Gideon said the final piece to his dark trooper program was himself, so what if he was actually trying to clone a bunch force-sensitive Gideons. Granted, the cloning chambers were opaque but the clones inside them didn't seem to be all deformed like Snoke.

I don't know about Snoke, but I think Gideon wants the Baby Yoda Force blood for himself to make himself some hybrid Jedi/ Mandalorian to rule a revived Empire.

Project Necromancer is Huxs dad's project ❤❤❤❤

Once Ahsoka comes out and Gideon survived I’d like to see a Gideon/Thrawn rivalry and as that goes forward to show secrets of Palpatine’s true plan

This has nothing to do with Stupid Smoke. He is wearing the new Prototype of the dark Trooper Beskar Armor... And THE BEST PART OF IT IS THAT HE IS IN IT... No more Droid strollers, he intends to clone himself, and use those now Force-Sensitive Clones as his new Squad of Dark Troopers. this, he combines the best of the Mandolorians, the Kaminoans (Cloning) and the Jedi/Sith (The Force)

What if snoke is a clone of Gideon but the other shadow empire officer clones palatine 😮

I like that theory. I think Gideon's plans end up, unintentionally, being used by The First Order to bring back Palpatine, decades later. Gideon had his own plans, irrespective of Thrawn's or The Shadow Council's.

Mandalorians did the Star Wars universe a major solid favor by destroying his base, force sensitive clones and cloning facility, and military. Remains to be seen as to whether Moff Gideon himself is truly dead. If he is, that’s another solid favor and one less baddie rebels will have to contend with.

I'm assuming that Snoke is a force-enhanced clone of Gideon, myself.

I think Snoke is just botched clones of moff Gideon that Palpatine learned to possess. Gideon has other botched clones stashed away somewhere in the galaxy.

Well that theory didn't last long 😂

No he did not. You did not listen to his speech in front of the Mandos. He is cloning himself using strands of DNA from Jedi and Mandos

Man he's trying to bring back Maul think about it !!

What if he doesnt create snoke but is loyal to or wants to reassurect Darth Maul and not Palpatine and he’s trying to bring back Darth Maul instead? Perhaps as Maul Killer? That would explain why he’s obsessed with the Darksaber despite trying to eradicate the only people that revere it (rather than trying to use it to recruit them), why his Shadow Counsel mirrors the tactics of the Shadow Collective, why he has pirate connections, and why he paid homage to Maul and his Mauldalorians even though he was an enemy to the empire. Perhaps when they are eventually defeated, substantial parts of the research are lost and maybe whats left is snoke or maybe snoke isn’t the first successful reattempt after Maul

I like how they're trying to patch up plot holes between the ot and the sequels, much how like clone wars did prequels. The finished movies were terrible in explaining themselves
